I'm trying to build a TDCS device which stands for: Trans-cranial Direct Current Stimulation

The concept is very simple, I just need someone who understands current flow, Voltage, miliamps and ohms

these guys are trying to get a $99 usd model on the market. The problem with that device is
1 it's not fore sale yet
2 it only for cognitive functions

I need the skills that an average electronics student possesses. We need to make a shopping list, make some calculations and assemble a simple device. There are plenty of examples of homemade devices on you tube.

If I try, The first hard is the "sponge electrodes"
so you got it ?
We can make electronic board but we can't creat "the EEG hat"
Circuits look like easy, I guess the cost 98$ is belong to the plastic hat
1$ for the electronic board
You can use vari-resistor to change values until it's compatiable and a man who dare to testing brain ^^

As I know, With neuron - these signals are pulse-form
The frequencies affect us differently
Working with the constant values isn't enough (right)
We need a generator pulse and a method of recording feedback from "man test" for the offset setting
I really like this project, hoping I can help you and forget about fee

I don't have sponge electrodes but I'm guessing that there will be shops who sell them. Last resort would be ordering them online.
But there is actually a shopping list:

parts to built a stimulator current settings from 0.5 to 2mA in 0.1mA increments and slow ramp up
sponge electrode with conductive rubber inset - different sizes 5x5cm 5x7cm 7x10cm
electrode cables
neoprene straps - for positioning of the electrodes
saline solution

Monday I'm free to go shopping so I will start collecting items needed.


2 perfect extras would be:

monitoring and display of actual current and electrode quality and automatic abort on excessive resistance to prevent skin irritation
