The AV2011 is a single chip wide band direct conversion tuner with integrated loop-through path optimized for DVB-S2 (Digital Video Broadcast - Satellite – Second Generation) and backward compatible with DVB-S receiver. It provides excellent performance in applications where maximum sensitivity, higher linearity and large dynamic range are required.

Based on Airoha’s innovative technology, the AV2011 integrates LNA (Low Noise Amplifier), Mixer, VCO (Voltage Control Oscillator), Crystal oscillator and LDO (Low Drop-out) regulators. As a result of integrating all these blocks, the AV2011 requires the least external components compared with other conventional solutions.

Not only cost and space, the AV2011 saves production time. AV2011 has built in automatic calibration procedure, so the production in customer site could be dramatically speeded up. The AV2011 also features with an integrated loop-through path, which offers BOM reduction and simplifies the application for dual channel demodulation like watch-and-record
