Even though means = facility, I have not heard of using it in this context.

nhưng giao tiếp phát âm không chuẩn lắm

Cách để phát âm chuẩn là học cách phát âm chuẩn từng từ mới mà mình học. Ví dụ như từ intelligence, Definition of intelligence noun (ABILITY) from Cambridge Dictionary Online: Free English Dictionary and Thesaurus, phải biết cách đọc theo cách phát âm mà người ta ghi trong từ điển. Phát âm không bao giờ chuẩn được, nói đúng khoảng 70% tới 80% là ok rồi, đừng có lệch nhiếu quá.

Để nghe được giỏi quan trọng số 1 là từ vựng, sau đó là nghe nhiều ... mình thấy cable TV có các chương trình của Discovery và NatGeo bạn có thể coi mà học hỏi. Muốn có từ vựng nhiều thì phải đọc, đọc mọi lĩnh vực, văn hóa nghệ thuật khoa học giải trí.

Cách học tiếng Anh của mình là làm theo chu trình:
Nghe, đọc hiểu => nói, viết => nghe, đọc hiểu => ...
Mỗi "từ, cụm từ, câu" Input vào (qua nghe -> âm; đọc hiểu -> nghĩa, chính tả & ngữ pháp) thì cho ra Output (nói, viết) để ghi nhớ. Cái nào quen thì sẽ quen hơn nữa, cái nào lạ thì nhiều lần sẽ quen.

Ngoài ra, nên tập trung vô những từ thường gặp nhất và từ chuyên ngành. Còn những từ ít gặp thì có nghĩa là ít dùng thì mình đừng tốn nhiều thời gian để học và nhớ làm gì, trừ trường hợp đặc biệt!

Cũng tùy bác ạ. Những bài viết về kỹ thuật rất "khô khan" so với các mục khác.

Theo ý tớ qua kinh nghiệm học anh văn thì học một ngôn ngữ là học một văn hóa khác. Mình không hiểu rõ văn hóa thì khó mà hiểu thấu đáo ngôn ngữ của họ. Tớ thì khuyên nên đọc truyện, sách báo về đời sống hàng ngày, v.v.
